Project Presentation
The Sphere is a wooden sculpture, which casts its colored shadow as an abstract painting on the surrounding environment. The spectator wandering by the artwork enters in a surrealistic universe. He/she loses his/her bearings in the play of the lively and evolving shadows.
Koert Vermeulen has been a lighting designer for over 18 years. He started his career in 1989 as founder of ASP, a professional lighting & sound supply company. In 1995 he founded ACT design, a company providing lighting design services for the entertainment business, creating compelling designs for theatre, spectacle, events & concerts, fashion shows and expositions.
Marcos Vinals Bassols is a free lance scenographer, working on the design and production of stage sets and 3-dimensional spaces for theatre, shows, exhibitions and events, and on installations on public spaces.
ACT Lighting Design on Anti-Utopias
Pol Marchandise was born in Belgium in 1958. After studying social psychology, he specializes in the art-therapy. In this context, he moderates workshops on creative self-expression.
Mostafa Hadi was born in Morocco in 1965 being the son of a carpenter. He left his country in 1987 to study Physical Sciences at the University of Metz (France) and arrived in Belgium in 1990 for an organic farming internship.
